Küstenperle-FAQs

We guarantee your arrival from 15:30. If you arrive earlier and your room is not yet ready, please fill in the registration form and you will receive your guest cards. You can then use these to explore the town or get your first breath of North Sea air. We will be happy to inform you by telephone as soon as your room is ready for occupancy.

You are welcome to book an early check-in from 13:00 on request and subject to availability for € 30.

Our arrangements are not all-inclusive or recurring every year. If you don't want to miss anything, we recommend that you subscribe to our newsletter. Here you will always be informed about the latest offers and arrangements. There is something special every year at Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Our parking lot is accessible to you without the need for advance notice. The barrier opens automatically as soon as you slowly approach it. Please let our reception know when you check in that you will be using our hotel parking lot.

You are welcome to spend your vacation with us together with your dog, as we are a dog-friendly hotel and have designated dog rooms where you can bring your four-legged friend.

As we only have a limited number of dog rooms and these are not available in every bookable room category, please let us know before making a firm booking that you would like to bring your dog with you so that we can check availability.

We charge an additional fee for your dog of € 15.00. Out of consideration for the other guests, we ask you to keep your dog on a lead at all times within the hotel. for hygiene reasons, your dog must remain in the room during breakfast, but is also welcome in our restaurant from 12:30 p.m. A maximum of one dog is allowed in the hotel room.

The reservation of our rooms is usually possible at different rates - the terms of payment depend on these. For a non-cancellable rate, direct payment via Paypal is usually necessary. If you decide on a cancelable rate, you have the option of depositing a credit card as a guarantee and paying on departure on site as requested or sending us the travel price before departure via Paypal or bank transfer.

Our family rooms, suites and wellness suites are equipped with a built-in fridge. If you need a fridge to cool medication, we will be happy to provide you with a mobile one in your room.

Our hotel does not have a cigarette vending machine. We are happy to satisfy your cravings with our snack vending machine in the entrance area.

You are welcome to use our gymnastics and sports room. A mat is available there for you to do a yoga session on your own - we do not offer sports or yoga classes.

For the sake of the environment, your room will be cleaned every two days during your stay. If you require daily cleaning, please let our reception team know.

Our restaurant, the Deichperle, has a play corner where children are welcome to play at mealtimes. The play corner is between 6 and 8 square meters in size. For the teenagers we have a youth room downstairs in the 1st basement, this room has a games console. To play with the games console, please contact us at reception.

We do not offer childcare in our hotel. However, we do have a children's play corner in our restaurant Deichperle, a small playground in front of our hotel, as well as a children's playroom with various board games and a Playstation. We are also located right next to the Perlebucht family lagoon, which has a playground.

We decided not to install an air conditioning system when we built the hotel. On the one hand, because we considered it less urgent for our location on the North Sea. On the other hand, because we prioritize sustainability. Nevertheless, we are keeping an eye on the situation with regard to climate change and will take appropriate measures if necessary.

We are happy to offer our guests bay beds up to the age of 2.99 years, subject to availability, and will provide this for you in your room before your arrival.

The Küstenperle itself does not offer beach chair hire. You can choose a beach chair from various providers directly on the adjacent dyke.

Our hotel has an elevator, with which all floors are accessible. There is enough space in both elevator cabins for use with a wheelchair.

Your room is at your disposal until 10:30 am on the day of departure. If you would like to use your room and our wellness area for longer on the day of departure, we can offer you a late check-out until 13:00 for € 30 and until 17:00 for € 50 on request and subject to availability. Simply ask at reception the day before your departure. Prices are per room.

Babies/children from 0-5.99 years pay no extra charge. Children from 6-14.99 years pay € 7.50 for the breakfast buffet, children from 6-11.99 years pay € 22.00 for the half board and children from 12-14.99 years pay € 28.50 for the half board. Children aged 15 and over are considered adults and pay the full price.

Hotel slippers are available at our reception.
Please note that the hotel slippers are very slippery on wet floors in the wellness area.
We recommend your own non-slip slippers.

We offer our guests with allergies special bed linen for allergy sufferers. In addition, dogs are not permitted in many of the rooms. Furthermore, these rooms do not have carpeting in order to be as allergy-friendly as possible.

The Perle comfort rooms can accommodate 2 adults, and there is also a pull-out bed (bed drawer) and the option of adding an extra bed. The wellness suites are designed for 2 adults. The Perle rooms can be booked as single or double rooms. In our family rooms & Perle suites, a maximum occupancy of 2 adults and 2 children is possible. One child must not be older than 12 years. An occupancy of 3 adults and 1 child under the age of 12 is also possible. Our 2-room vacation apartments can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child under the age of 6. In our 3-room apartments there is enough space for up to 4 people. We are also happy to provide baby cribs for our youngest guests.

We have a lockable and covered bicycle room as well as bicycle stands in front of our building, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee the (covered) storage of the bicycles you bring with you. We have no control over whether and how many bicycles are brought by our guests. For organizational and time reasons, asking in advance exceeds the actual benefit. When we planned our accommodation facilities for bicycles under building law in 2016, the current "bicycle trend" did not yet exist in this form. As a result, the storage of our own bicycles/e-bikes currently exceeds our capacities. Unfortunately, it is therefore not possible for us to offer an ideal alternative accommodation solution at short notice. You are welcome to ask us shortly before departure whether there are enough rental bikes available. Alternatively, several external providers in Büsum offer bicycle rental.

Our hotel reception is manned 24 hours a day. We are at your disposal around the clock. Please inform us in case of arrival after 22:00.

A shuttle service is not offered. You can reach the hotel from Büsum train station by cab in a few minutes. The fare is approx. € 8.00.

You are welcome to spend your vacation together with your dog at the Hotel Küstenperle. We are a dog-friendly hotel and have designated dog rooms in all categories where you can bring your four-legged friend. Out of consideration for other guests, we ask you to keep your dog on a lead at all times within the hotel. For reasons of hygiene, your dog must remain in your room during breakfast, but is also welcome in our restaurant afterwards. Depending on availability, we offer you the opportunity to have breakfast together with your dog in Schneiders Bar. A maximum of one dog is allowed in the hotel room. We charge an additional fee of € 15.00/night for your dog.

Our hotel parking lot has two e-charging stations from NewMotion. You are welcome to use this public charging network, currently the largest in Europe. You can request your personal charging card via the Shell Recharge app (iOs App Store, Google Play Store). If possible, please bring your own charging cable - if necessary, this can also be provided at the hotel. In this case, you will be charged at the hotel.

The cost of a parking space is € 6.00 per day and car. We have sufficient parking spaces, so it is not necessary to make a reservation in advance. Pre-registration on the day of arrival is also not necessary, the barrier opens automatically. Alternatively, there are several free parking bays in the nearby residential area. Please note that these are very popular with day visitors during the season. You can also park in the P1 parking lot in Büsum (at the traffic circle at the entrance to the town), which is free of charge and very large.

Our Küstenperle is located in Büsum - directly on the dyke of the Perlebucht family lagoon. You can reach us by car via the A23 (exit Heide-West). Büsum's pedestrian zone is a 20-minute walk away (approx. 1.5 km). The train station is just under 2 km from the Küstenperle, in the heart of the community.

Our cancellation deadline for all trips from the beginning of April to the end of October is 14 days before arrival. Our regular cancellation period for the travel period from the beginning of November to the end of March is 7 days before arrival. Christmas and New Year's Eve are exceptions to this rule (cancellation deadline: 14 days before arrival). The cancellation period for our vacation apartments is 4 weeks before arrival.

We charge a fee of €6.00 per night for all our parking spaces.

You can book dinner as part of the half-board package. In the evening, you will be served a 3-course menu of the chef's choice - main course: fish, meat or a vegetarian alternative. If you still don't find what you like, choose something from the current menu and we will offset the value of the half-board.

You are welcome to book dinner as part of the half-board package for your stay up to three days before your arrival. If you decide during your stay to switch from half board to à la carte for one evening, please inform the reservation or restaurant team the day before.

Our restaurant offers some vegetarian and vegan dishes. If you have any intolerances, allergies or special requests, please let us know in advance so that we can offer you alternatives.

Our reception is open 24 hours a day. If you have any questions or requests during your stay, you are always welcome here. Even if you fancy a late-night snack, our snack machine opposite reception is sure to have the right thing for you.

External guests are also welcome to have breakfast or dinner with us at the Küstenperle, depending on availability.

If you are planning a cozy and delicious dinner in our restaurant Deichperle, we recommend that you reserve a table in advance. Our Deichperle is particularly popular in summer and at weekends.

We do not have an official dress code, but we appreciate that you dress appropriately, especially at dinner.

We would be delighted if you would spend your special day with us. Please let us know your wishes for this special day in advance. Whether it is an order for a birthday cake or a festive decoration of your breakfast table - on this day everything should be according to your wishes and we will be happy to support you.

We are happy to offer you lactose-free and gluten-free food. Please let us know your intolerances in advance so that we can adapt our breakfast buffet for you.

We recommend booking treatments in advance of your stay.

The use of our spa and wellness area is possible from Sunday to Friday for external guests in conjunction with booked treatments.

With a booked treatment in our spa you are entitled to use the pool and sauna area of up to 3 hours for € 35 per person and visit. You will receive a spa bag (sauna towels and bath robe) and an entrance card for the spa area. Reservations are necessary.

You are cordially invited to use our SPA area daily from 07:30-21:00. Let your mind wander between 11:00 - 21:00 at weekends and 12:00 - 21:00 during the week with a visit to our sauna area. For an extra dose of relaxation, our SPA team will be happy to welcome you between 09:30 - 19:00 and pamper you with a colorful repertoire of massages and treatments. Let us make your vacation a very special relaxation experience together.

The temperature of our pool is always between 29°C and 29.5°C. A pleasant temperature to feel good and relax.

For hygienic reasons, eating and drinking is not permitted in our SPA area so that all our guests can enjoy the same high-quality wellness experience.

Wheelchairs may of course be taken into our pool and sauna area. However, please note that this is not barrier-free throughout and does not have wider doors.
